The ITWG-FGR was established in 2009 by the Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (CGRFA), to review the situation and technical issues related to biodiversity in the area of forest genetic resources (FGR), and advise and make recommendations to the Commission on these matters. Agenda of the session includes reviewing proposed targets and indicators for Forest Genetic Resources.
