APAFRI, FRIM and Bioversity organize annually in Malaysia a workshop on forest biodiversity, particularly on genetic diversity of trees. The content of the workshop varies from year to year but always includes key issues in conservation of forest genetic resources. The intensive workshop brings eminent scientists and enthusiastic students from Asia and the Pacific together. The workshop is organized under the umbrella of APFORGEN.
