The APAFRI Secretariat is pleased to announce that the 7th APAFRI General Assembly was successfully convened on 20 September 2015, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Among the agenda of this General Assembly was the election of the New Executive Committee members.
The New Executive Committee to serve for three years from 2015 to 2018 are as follows:

As the Immediate Past Chair, FRIM, it's Director General Dr. Abd Latif Mohmod in his speech announced that FRIM governing board has agreed to continue hosting the Secretariat at FRIM Campus with a five-fold increase in its annual maintenance budget in addition to the assignment of a senior researcher and an administrative assistant to manage the Secretariat. With the support from member institutions, and the financial contributions from a number of regional and international donor agencies, APAFRI was able to deliver a wide range of services to its members during the past years. These will be continued and expanded further in years to come under the guidance of the new Executive Committee.
