An analysis of tree seed supply systems across Asian countries, jointly developed by APFORGEN experts, was recently covered by the popular environmental news sites Mongabay and SciDev.Net. The research paper highlights a mismatch in the supply of and demand for native tree seeds, and lack of quality assurance mechanisms that would help ensure restoration success.
