World Wildlife Fund U.S. - Reforestation Grants 2016

WWF has the objective to scale landscape approaches, including restoration, in at least 10 landscapes where forest ecosystem services are valued and conserved by 2020. In 2012, with support from The UPS Foundation, Education For Nature Fund (EFN) launched the Reforestation Grant Program to fulfill this goal by supporting locally-based organizations working in WWF priority areas to plant, protect, and preserve trees.

Local organizations from the following WWF-US priority ecoregions are eligible to apply.

•Borneo and Sumatra (Indonesia)

•Eastern Himalayas (Bhutan, Nepal)

•Greater Mekong (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam)

Application deadline - February 1, 2016. For full guidelines and to access the online application - http://www.worldwildlife.org/projects/reforestation-grants
